I've read some reviews claiming this to be a cheap Italian Conan ripoff. Whatever. It's by Joe D'Amato. 'Nuff said.

Apparently, Blood Feast has the notietriety of being the first gore movie. It was so shocking for its time, that quite a few theatres refused to show it. The movie was directed by the legendary Herschell Gordon Lewis.

I've never seen the movie, nor read the novel it was based on. After reading the description on IMDB, I've not the slightest interest to seeing the movie or reading the novel. Not that if you actually have an interest, you can find either available.
